Your personal statement(s) is the one aspect of your application portfolio over which you have complete control. 

A compelling personal essay can give you an edge over other similarly qualified applicants or even make up for certain deficiencies.  A boring or cliché essay can significantly hurt your chances, even in spite of stellar grades, test scores, and other achievements.

Above and Beyond

While regularly attending one or both of our programs (“Math Up! and/or “The Write Side”) is perfectly suited in the vast majority of cases to help and challenge our students to reach their full potential, we understand that there may be exceptions.  

Whether because your child’s other extracurricular activities (e.g. team sports, etc.) make it difficult to attend during the week or because your child has a diagnosed learning disability, a weekend 1-on-1 tutoring session may better meet their specific needs.

In cases involving significant academic challenges, we will, with your permission, coordinate with your child’s school teacher (and other support staff/specialists) to better assist them in a holistic fashion.
